Trainig & Placement Cell

The Training and Placement department has been constantly and consistently instrumental and successful in planning, organizing and executing various developmental programs for students and faculty members through internal resources and external industrial intervention to enhance the employability skills and enable smooth placement process for the students.

Zero to Gravity Program: Looking at the ever changing job scenarios and business dynamics and realizing the importance of strength of a character being the key expectation of the industry, the T&P department along with Humanities has successfully formulated, designed and developed a four year activity based training roadmap which would support the holistic development of a student at KITE right from 1st semester onwards and increase their chances of not only cracking a job but performing in it.

T&P department organized Guest Lectures, Student Development Programmes, Seminars, Industrial Visits and Live Projects for students where entrepreneurs, industrialists and corporate stake holders were invited to share their experience and enlightened students with latest market trends, education and industry interface and how they can create their place successfully in it.

Research & Development Cell

KITE has a strong Research and Skill Development Cell which works in association with the IIT’s, NIT’s, CSVTU, CGCOST and other renowned universities. Every year, the institute is enriched by the laurels brought by the faculty members and the students in the form of research publications, projects and their exhibitions, fellowships and industrial exposure, conduction of FDP and SDP. It has a vibrant teaching atmosphere with a combination of strong academic and research activities to reach the zenith of knowledge and innovation.

KITE has demonstrated its excellence in research in many areas like: Nano-materials and Nano-technology, Bio-Informatics, Robotics, Stress Analysis, Material Science, Vibration and Control, Manufacturing Competence, Semiconductor Technology, Photonics, Nuclear Sciences, Particle Physics, Chemical Kinetics, Digital Image Processing, Cryptography and Network Security, Environmental Science, Yoga and Meditational research and so on. The faculty and students have presented/published more than 200 research papers/articles in reputed conferences /journals.

Meditation & Counselling cell

A divine cell for meditation, counselling and personality development was established at KITE Campus in February 2011. It is the first innovative effort taken by any technical institute in CG to enhance life skills, concentration, confidence, and character building among engineering students. Students practicing meditation regularly in the cell finding drastic positive change in their behaviour, attitude, time and task management, relation management, in overcoming exam phobia, depression and negativity.

This cell has come to be a sacrosanct place to devote 10-15 minutes to enhance the quality of living, professional efficiency, to inculcate positivity and to explore the hidden dimension of individual's personality. This cell is equipped with a small library containing a variety of books on personality development, memory management, time management, meditation, etc.

Vocational Training Program

The central and the state government have developed various schemes to impart vocational training to unemployed youth to meet the requirement of skilled manpower for the nation. The objectives is to provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates, etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available. Existing skills of the persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme. Vocational training aims at development of the skills of individual and enhances their employability through various courses. To pursue this objective the government has identified suitable centers and provides financial assistance to impart vocational training.

Kruti Institute of Technology and Engineering, Raipur is an approved training centre (Registered Vocational Training Provider) for National and State level skill development programs such as NSDC, MMKVY, DDUGKY etc. This centre was established in the year 2014-15 and is providing training to youth free of cost under skill development program. The centre is running skill development program in 14 sectors. These sectors cover various areas such as Soft skills ,Construction, Information and Communication Technology, Electrical, Industrial electrical electronics, fabrication, Automotive repair Process instrumentation, Production and manufacturing, Wood work, Banking and Accounting, Business and Commerce, and Refrigeration and air conditioning.

The institute has registered more than 50 VTP courses under different sectors with CSSDA.

The Candidate enrolled under the VTP is required to meet the following:-
  • Basic course specific Education criteria.
  • Basic course specific Age criteria.
  • Give at least 80% attendance for the course in terms of hours attended.
  • At the completion of course the student is required to appear for a written test.
