This branch of engineering deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. The objective is to provide students with scientific knowledge necessary to understand the fundamentals of engineering as well as successfully obtain a graduate degree in electrical engineering. The programme equips the student to develop ability to apply the knowledge in analysis, design, simulation and control for getting adequate exposure to various software’s and electrical equipments. Students undergo internship for a minimum 5 weeks during second year to third year of course to equip them with the ability to communicate effectively and to act with social, ethical and professional responsibilities. Projects for final year students help them to develop capabilities to provide resourceful and innovative electrical engineering solutions.
